Yes , all of our DJS are fully insured and we will provide all of the relevant health and safety documentation such a risk assessments and PAT testing certificates for our equipment to your venue.
Do our DJs come with back up equipment ?
Yes, they do. It is important that a DJ has backup equipment in the unfortunate occurrence that there is a technical failure.
What will the DJ wear to the wedding ?
The bride and groom will decide on the attire that the wish the DJ to wear
Do you accept music lists, and will the DJ take requests ?
Yes, we do accept music lists. We actually request that our clients send us a short list via Spotify (or similar) so that we can build the music around your tastes. We are solely there for your special day. It is all about the couple and not about the DJs preference. We will send you a questionnaire regarding your musical requirements including tracks that you might not want to hear.
For example, there was an occasion where the bride and groom told us that “no Michael Jackson or other 'questionable artists' must be played”.
When it comes to requests, our DJs will happily take them provided that they fit in with the music policy you stipluate, and that they will appeal to the crowd (all of our DJs are incredibly talented at reading the room!). We do however ask that you do not leave a book or other means for guests to bombard the DJ with song requests, as this can be distracting and may result in them not being able to concentrate on making your special day, even more special.
Can you provide a pre-mix to help us choose the DJ?
Yes, we do this for many events companies where they want to offer a few different DJ options to their client to choose from. We would then ask our DJS that suit the couple’s music to provide a 30-minute mix for the client to choose from.
We have a selection of pre-prepared mixes to give you an idea on our 'Sample Wedding Mixes'page:
